PRN Physical Therapist Assistant
About the role
As an Enhance Rehabilitation physical therapist assistant, you will work under the guidance of a physical therapist to assist in treating patients. You will be part of a dynamic team that is growing.
Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing physical therapy treatment programs based on each patient's needs.
- Aid patients through all phases of physical therapy treatment and techniques.
- Communicate with patients about their treatment and document their conditions and responses in charts after each session.
- Interact with Physical Therapists, Directors of Rehab, and facility staff to ensure continuous communication.
- Operate and apply knowledge of standard physical therapy equipment.
Requirements
Enhance Rehabilitation is looking for candidates who have completed a physical therapy assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and have a valid driver’s license if required for travel.
Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, ability to work effectively in a team environment, and strong communication skills are essential.
