What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients across the lifespan
- Conduct patient histories, physical examinations, assessments, and evaluations
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic health conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Order and interpret appropriate laboratory, diagnostic, and imaging studies
- Prescribe medications and treatments within the scope of practice
- Provide preventive care, health education, and counseling
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records and clinical documentation
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA requirements
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, behavioral health professionals, and other members of the healthcare team
- Provide compassionate, culturally responsive care to a diverse patient population
