The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (VSP) applies advanced education and clinical competencies to achieve optimal patient outcomes, working on problems of diverse scope and complexity. Responsibilities include health promotion, maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment of acute illness and chronic conditions, as well as prescribing medication and examining patients.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose illnesses and provide treatment for acute and chronic conditions.
  • Prescribe medication and perform patient examinations.
  • Advise executives on developing functional strategies related to patient care.
  • Exercise independent judgment on complex issues with minimal supervision.
  • Analyze variable factors to determine the best course of action.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of Primary Care experience.
  • Master's Degree in Nursing or completion of a PA program with board certification.
  • Active, unrestricted GA license for NP or PA.
  • Minimum availability of 8 weekdays per month (Monday-Friday).
  • Basic computer proficiency (EMR, email, etc.).

Qualifications

  • Masters in Science of Nursing or PA.
  • Experience in value-based care, primary care, or Medicare Advantage settings.
  • Familiarity with HEDIS quality indicators and Medicare guidelines.
  • Active DEA license and Medicare/Medicaid provider numbers or ability to obtain them.

Pay

$149,800 - $206,100 per year (full-time, 40 hours per week). Pay may vary based on geographic location, skills, knowledge, experience, education, and certifications.

Schedule

Minimum of 8 weekdays per month.
