About the Role

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or the direction of a licensed professional nurse, ensuring professional accountability and patient rights. Coordinates patient care with other departments and maintains confidentiality of patient information.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
• Current licensure as a practical nurse

Preferred Certifications

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• PEARS (Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization)
• S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood pressure, Lab work, Emotional support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• LPN-IV (Licensed Practical Nurse – Intravenous Therapy)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform movements such as reaching and bending
