About the Role
Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process under supervision or the direction of a licensed professional nurse, ensuring professional accountability and patient rights. Coordinates patient care with other departments and maintains confidentiality of patient information.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
- Current licensure as a practical nurse
Preferred Certifications
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- PEARS (Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization)
- S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood pressure, Lab work, Emotional support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- LPN-IV (Licensed Practical Nurse – Intravenous Therapy)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform movements such as reaching and bending
