About the role
MUSC Health is seeking an ABEM Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join an established, physician-led emergency medicine team serving three hospitals within its Catawba Division.
Responsibilities
- Work on a PRN basis in a well-supported ED providing a variety in practice setting while maintaining scheduling equity and consistency.

Requirements
- MD/DO with board certification in Emergency Medicine
- Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of South Carolina
Qualifications
- Strong communication, organization and teamwork skills
Skills
- EPIC EMR with DAX AI scribe available
- Equitable distribution of 10-hour and 12-hour physician shifts with physician-led scheduling
- LMC ED and CMC ED supplemented with daily APP coverage
- Annual LMC ED Volume: 32,000 with admission rate of 18%
- Annual CMC ED Volume: 15,000 with admission rate of 7%
- Complement of well-supported specialties to include Anesthesia, OB/Gyn, General Surgery, Urology, GI, Orthopedics, ENT, Tele-Neurology, Tele-Psychiatry
- Excellent Integrated Hospital-Based Team to include Hospitalists and Intensivists
- Dedicated Nocturnists
- Opportunity to work with IM and FM Residents
