About the role
MUSC Health is seeking an ABEM Board Certified/Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to join an established, physician-led emergency medicine team serving three hospitals within its Catawba Division.
Responsibilities
- Evenly distributed shifts at each site
- Provides variety in practice setting while maintaining scheduling equity and consistency
- Enjoy manageable volumes, strong operational support, modern infrastructure, and competitive compensation
- Work a schedule of evenly distributed shifts at each clinical site
- EPIC EMR with DAX AI scribe available
- 10-hour and 12-hour physician shifts with physician-led scheduling
- LMC ED supplemented with 24-hours of daily APP coverage
- CMC ED supplemented with 8-hours of APP coverage on days with the highest average volumes
- Annual LMC ED Volume: 31,000
- Annual CMC ED Volume: 16,000
- LMC ED is certified by the SC Department of Public Health as “Pediatric Ready”
Requirements
- MD/DO with board certification in Emergency Medicine
- Eligibility for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of South Carolina
- Strong communication, organization and teamwork skills
