PRN Cardiac Sonographer

Role Overview

This position is for a PRN Cardiac Sonographer responsible for performing various cardiac tests including treadmill stress testing, holter monitoring, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, stress echo, and cardiac doppler.

Key Duties

• Perform cardiac diagnostic procedures at multiple locations
• Serve as a lead and resource for other sonographers/staff in the lab
• Assist with coordinating lab activities, training new employees, and credentialing
• Maintain credentials, handle quality assurance activities, and conduct case audits

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED, with Sonography certification (RDCS or equivalent)
• 2-5 years of experience; preferred associate’s degree in Allied Health/Sonography with 5-10 years of experience
• CPR certification; no supervisory experience required
• Preferred additional qualifications include supervisor experience and licensure in cardiopulmonary resuscitation
