PRN - ASC Cath Lab RT(R)

Nature of Duties

• Assists in performing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures under physician supervision.
• Operates equipment and ensures proper patient care during procedures.
• Maintains safety protocols and performs routine to complex diagnostic and therapeutic tasks according to department protocols.
• Performs equipment checks and maintains equipment for procedures.
• Prepares procedure rooms with necessary supplies and assists with patient positioning and imaging.
• Monitor patients' vital signs during procedures, reporting abnormalities.
• Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and interventional treatments.
• Ensure radiation safety and maintain sterile techniques during procedures.
• Document procedures accurately and assist with inventory management.
• Provide training and act as a resource for staff.
• Transport patients and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required, RCIS preferred.
• Licensed by the IL State Board of Medical Examiners in Radiologic Technology.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• 2 years of Cath Lab experience required.
