About the role
Aids the physician in performing invasive cardiac procedures.
Responsibilities
- Aids the physician in the performance of invasive cardiac procedures.
- Has thorough knowledge of all Cath Lab Equipment and maintains it.
- Administers direct and indirect care to patients undergoing invasive cardiac procedures.
- Provides direct and indirect cardiovascular clinical care during established procedures.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of a RCIS program
- Education: Graduate from a nursing program
- Education: Graduate of a program in respiratory, paramedic, imaging or exercise physiology
- Work Experience: No experience required
- Licenses and Certifications: RCIS - Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (if a graduate of RCIS program, must be obtained within 24 months of hire), based on healthcare experience (see above) applicable license. BCLS - Basic Life Support ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support upon hire
