PRN/As Needed RN - Acute Rehab

Role Overview

Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Evaluates care effectiveness provided by team members and coordinates patient care across departments, aligning with organizational standards and values.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to assigned patients
• Assess patient needs and develop appropriate care plans
• Collaborate with healthcare team members
• Maintain documentation and uphold patient confidentiality
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards and protocols

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited registered nursing program
• Current RN license in the state or compact licensure
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds
• Prolonged standing and walking
• Proficiency in basic life support (BLS), with additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, or specialty certifications as needed
• Ability to perform physical tasks including reaching, bending, kneeling, and twisting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Additional Requirements

• Certifications in emergency, neonatal, pediatric, trauma, or specialty care preferred
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care in alignment with organizational standards
