Role Overview: The Advanced Cardiovascular Special Procedure Technologist performs advanced diagnostic and invasive procedures to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with heart-related conditions. Responsibilities include serving as a resource, assisting in orientation and training, and ensuring accurate diagnoses through expertise in cardiovascular anatomy, sterile techniques, and advanced imaging technologies. Effective communication with patients and healthcare professionals is essential for delivering optimal care. Qualifications & Skills: Typically requires graduation from an accredited radiologic or imaging program, certification (ARRT or RCIS), and Basic Life Support (BLS). The role demands proficiency with radiographic equipment, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Physical requirements include lifting, prolonged standing, and various physical movements such as reaching and bending.
