Private Duty Nurse - RN (Nights/Weekends)

About the role

Join a compassionate healthcare team as a Registered Nurse (RN), providing skilled nursing care in patients' homes. This role involves traveling to patient locations, working in varied settings, and adhering to safety standards to provide empathetic, high-quality home healthcare. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and coordinating patient care according to physician plans and assessments.
• Monitoring and reporting changes in patient conditions.
• Documenting assessments, actions, responses, and care activities promptly.
• Developing, updating, and implementing individualized nursing care plans.
• Ensuring infection control and educating patients and families on disease management and self-care.
• Maintaining compliance with policies, regulations, and standards of practice.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted RN license in the practicing state.
• Current CPR certification and TB test within last 12 months.
• Six months of clinical experience preferred, with additional state-specific requirements.
• Reliable transportation and physical ability to perform caregiving tasks.
