Private Duty Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one skilled nursing care to pediatric and adult patients in their homes.
• Perform clinical assessments, medication administration, ventilator and trach management, wound care, and patient/family education.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to implement and follow individualized care plans.
• Accurately document care activities in electronic health records.
• Deliver compassionate, patient-focused nursing care, ensure adherence to care plans, and maintain accurate documentation to support clinical excellence and positive patient outcomes.

Requirements

• Current RN licensure.
• Experience in skilled nursing, pediatric or adult care preferred.
• Strong clinical skills, including ventilator and trach management.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
