About the role

Janney is an award‑winning full‑service financial services firm committed to understanding clients' needs and providing advice beyond investments. As a Private Client Associate you will play an integral role in the success of the Janney branch by assisting in administering, marketing, and growing client relationships, working closely with Janney Financial Advisors (FAs) to enhance and expand their business. You will help develop and maintain client relationships by organizing and implementing productivity‑based campaigns and may also perform operational responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering, marketing, and growing client relationships.
• Work closely with Financial Advisors to enhance and grow their business.
• Develop and maintain client relationships by organizing and implementing productivity‑based campaigns.
• Perform operational responsibilities as needed.
• Provide excellent telephone service to clients and potential clients, ensuring prompt, accurate, and timely attention to detail.
• Compose effective client correspondence in accordance with established policies and procedures.
• Utilize available technology and tools to support efficient and effective time management.
• Assist Financial Advisors in organizing and implementing productivity‑based campaigns.
• Maintain knowledge of firm technology to provide quick responses to FA and client inquiries.
• Build trust‑based, collaborative relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Anticipate potential issues or problems and alert the respective FA and/or Branch Management as necessary.

Requirements

• High School diploma.
• Prior office experience preferred but not required.
• Series 7, 63 and 65, or 66 preferred; if unlicensed, able to obtain licensing within twelve months of hire.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, deadline‑oriented environment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• High ethical standards.
