Private Client Associate Location: Miami, FL A leading global law firm is seeking a Private Client Associate with 2-3 years of experience to join its growing Miami practice. The successful candidate will advise high-net-worth individuals and families on sophisticated estate planning, wealth transfer and domestic tax matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a junior private client attorney looking to develop a sophisticated practice with exposure to complex planning structures and international considerations. Key Responsibilities Draft standard and sophisticated estate planning documentsAssist with structuring and implementing wealth-transfer strategiesAdvise on domestic estate, gift and income tax planningSupport complex trust and estate planning mattersWork with senior attorneys on tailored private wealth strategiesCoordinate with clients and external advisersConduct legal research and analysisAssist with international tax planning matters where appropriate Who You Are 2-3 years of relevant private client experienceExperience drafting estate planning documentsStrong understanding of domestic estate, gift and income tax planningInternational tax planning experience is advantageousLL.M. in Taxation is a plus, but not requiredExcellent academic credentialsStrong research, writing and analytical abilitiesExcellent organizational and client relationship skillsAdmitted to the Florida Bar or willing to sit the next Florida Bar examination Compensation Published Salary Scale for Relevant Class Years: $235,000 – $270,000 Compensation depends on applicable class year.
