About the role

The Private Client Associate is responsible for supporting the Private Client Relationship Managers in providing exceptional service to our Private Clients.

Location

Hybrid to Melville, NY, Bridgehampton, NY, Jersey City, NJ, and Summit, NJ.

Responsibilities

• Work as a team with Private Client Relationship Managers, producers, sales support, and other team members to meet the needs of our Private Client customers by assisting with account reviews, quoting, billing inquiries, and other tasks as needed.
• Field and respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, mail, and email in a professional and courteous manner.
• Develop a strong working knowledge of our carrier’s websites and utilize the sites to secure accurate and timely information for our clients.
• Document all communications with clients and carriers in a prompt manner. Records must reflect the most current status at all times.
• Comply with all internal procedures and practices while demonstrating the ability to meet service and quality standards.
• Assume ownership of problems until resolution is successfully accomplished.
• Work as a team and contribute to the team effort by openly sharing insurance knowledge.
• Become a student of the business. Seek insurance knowledge through training and education.

Requirements

• College graduate or equivalent experience.
• P&C Insurance License required (can be obtained once hired).

Pay

The hourly pay range for this non-exempt position is $33.34 – $41.03 per hour, based on factors such as experience, skills, training, certifications, education, internal equity, and market data. Standard workweeks are 37.5 hours. This role may also be eligible for bonuses.
