About this job

The Private Client Associate plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting day-to-day branch operations through basic banking services. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, building strong relationships through professional, attentive interactions while accurately processing financial transactions.

  • Uphold the bank’s boutique, business-professional culture by engaging with clients in a polished, courteous, and attentive manner, ensuring a refined customer experience that aligns with our high-end service expectations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Actively listens to customer needs and inquiries, providing clear, concise, and accurate information.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to cross-sell or refer appropriate banking products and services.
  • Address basic customer concerns and resolve minor issues independently, escalating complex situations to a manager when necessary.
  • Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor in all interactions, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Efficiently and accurately process a wide range of financial transactions.
  • Aid in branch opening and closing procedures including securing cash and official documents.
  • Onboard deposit accounts.
  • Manage and balance a cash drawer with precision, adhering to all cash handling policies and procedures.
  • Adhere strictly to all bank policies, procedures, and federal/state banking regulations (e.g., BSA/AML privacy laws, Regulation CC).

Qualifications for Success

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, (verbal and written), with the ability to clearly articulate information.
  • A strong customer-focused attitude and a genuine desire to assist others.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High level of integrity, trustworthiness, and discretion with sensitive information.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including some Saturdays, as required by branch operations.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including comfort with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn new banking software.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of financial concepts and personal banking.
  • Experience with Jack Henry core processor (Silverlake, Synergy, 4Sight, Xperience, and Onboard).
