Private Capital Operations Associate

About the role

Private Capital Operations Associate roles at Initio Sphere are not traditional employment positions. These roles are operated as independent contractors and require certification and verification through Initio Sphere's platform.

Responsibilities

• Deal & Transaction Operations: Pipeline tracking, data room setup, diligence checklist management, transaction process documentation, and status reporting.
• Fund & Investor Operations: Capital call and distribution support, investor reporting coordination, subscription and closing process support, and fund documentation organization.
• Portfolio & Ongoing Support: Portfolio company reporting coordination, KPI tracking, and performance data consolidation.
• Other operational tasks as approved by Initio Sphere.

Requirements

To be eligible, candidates must meet at least one of the following criteria:

• Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment.
• Complete Initio Sphere Financial or Operations Training.
• Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent).

Certifications & Eligibility

Each associate receives an Analyst Rating Score, which determines:

• Platform visibility
• Approved operational work categories
• Recommended hourly rates

Pay

Compensation varies by Rating Score and approval level. Associates may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees, with a maximum deal-based earning of $2,500 per transaction. Payments are issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection.

Schedule

Associates operate as independent contractors and may work on-demand, depending on project availability.
