Role Overview

Initio Sphere seeks qualified finance professionals to join as Private Capital Assessment Analysts. This role is not traditional employment; Analysts operate as independent contractors, activated through the certification and verification process. Once approved, Analysts gain access to live deal flow and paid analytical work, support investors, fund managers, and operators, and build a verified deal track record.

Certification tiers

• Senior Analyst: $150–200/hour - Ex-investment banking, private equity, venture capital, senior consulting, or development professionals with 5+ years of capital assessment and deal evaluation experience

• Lead Analyst: $100–150/hour - Finance professionals with 3–5 years of investment evaluation, modeling, or transaction experience

• Analyst / Associate: $50–100/hour - Entry to mid-level analysts with strong technical and analytical skills

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Depending on your certification approvals, Analysts may be engaged for:

• Private Capital Assessment & Evaluation: Analyze and assess private market investment opportunities for financial, operational, and strategic viability; review capital structures, deal terms, and projected returns; identify key risks, assumptions, and potential value creation opportunities; prepare investment memos, summaries, and recommendations for investors or sponsors.

• Financial Modeling & Valuation: Create 3-statement financial models, DCF/LBO modeling, comparable company and precedent transaction analysis, sensitivity and scenario analysis, commercial real estate underwriting, football field valuation summaries.

• Due Diligence & Investment Support: Conduct Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis, commercial and operational diligence, risk assessment.

How Analysts Start Earning

Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training, receive category-specific approvals, get verified on the platform, and begin earning income immediately through hourly projects and live deal work. No cold applying, no unpaid “experience.” Verified analysts are actively promoted to investors and deal sponsors.

Certification & Eligibility

• To qualify, you must meet at least one of the following:

  • Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment

  • Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training

  • Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)

Certification & Eligibility

Each analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines visibility on the platform, approved work categories, and recommended hourly rates.

Compensation & Deal Terms

• Analysts are independent contractors, not employees. Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level. Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees. Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction. Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection.
