Private Investment Analyst

About the role

This is a Certified Independent Contractor role for Senior Lead Analysts at Initio Sphere, a private capital ecosystem that integrates deal flow, analyst talent, investor access, diligence support, training, and career placement.

Responsibilities

• Financial Modeling & Valuation: Three-statement operating models, commercial real estate underwriting, DCF and LBO modeling, sensitivity and scenario analysis, comparable company and precedent transaction analysis, football-field valuation summaries.
• Due Diligence & Investment Support: Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis, commercial, operational, and financial diligence, risk assessment and downside analysis, investment memo and IC materials support.

Requirements

• Score 70% or higher in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment.
• Complete Initio Sphere Financial Training.
• Hold an active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent).

Qualifications

• Former investment banking, private equity, venture capital, senior consulting, real estate development, or corporate finance professionals with 5+ years of transaction experience for Senior Investment Analyst.
• Finance professionals with 3–5 years of modeling, valuation, or deal execution experience for Lead Investment Analyst.
• Entry- to mid-level analysts with strong technical skills and demonstrated analytical performance for Investment Analyst / Associate Analyst.

Pay

$50–$200 per hour, based on Analyst Rating Score, credentials, and approval scope. Plus limited deal-based participation on select transactions.

Schedule

Independent contractor status with immediate start upon approval.
