About the role
As the Senior Credit Advisor, you will be the go-to expert on all credit and risk-based products with emphasis and support to Private Banking relationship managers and business heads. You will identify, structure, negotiate, and underwrite new credit opportunities, build trust with clients, and provide creative solutions while handling risk and portfolio management with credit products.
Responsibilities
- Underwrite credit memos from start to finish for products including:
- Lending secured by marketable securities, single stock, unsecured loans
- Commercial Real Estate and residential mortgages
- Hedge Funds and Private Equity Capital Call (PECC/Subscription facilities)
- Art, financial sponsors, unlisted shares (privately held stock)
- Life Insurance Premium Finance (LIPF)
- Music rights lending
- CAT B Foreign Exchange (FX) and derivatives lending
- Aircraft and yacht lending
- Create credit memos covering:
- Transaction summary and loan structure
- Covenants and collateral analysis
- Financial spreads and cash flow analysis
- Risk, mitigants, strengths, and weaknesses
- Documentation and recommendations
- Engage in client-facing interactions with Private Bank High Net Worth Clients.
- Perform credit analysis and build relationships.
Requirements
- Experience in underwriting credit memos for complex credit products.
- Client-facing experience, particularly with Private Banking High Net Worth Clients.
- Proficiency in credit analysis, relationship building, and Microsoft Office.
