Printshop/Mailroom Operator
Full-time position located in Oklahoma City, OK. One vacancy available.

Annual salary: $36,100.00; Hourly rate: $17.36 ($17.355769). FLSA status: Non-Exempt.
Schedule
Primary working hours: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Responsibilities
- Operate large-capacity printers, copiers, scanners, folders, and postage meters in the production of publications, forms, bulletins, or other printed items.
- Receive, check, and sort mail ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
- Deliver mail to the correct recipients, either by hand or using mail-distribution systems.
- Clean and make necessary adjustments and minor repairs to equipment.
- Maintain an inventory of materials or supplies on hand.
- Identify opportunities for streamlining print processes, implement new technologies, and enhance overall efficiency.
- On-site attendance is essential; the role requires direct interaction with staff, clients, and on-site office resources.
Requirements
- One year of experience working in a mailroom/printshop, or completion of a vocational/technical education program in offset printing.
- Basic working knowledge of large-scale print-shop/mailroom equipment and its operation.
- Ability to remain seated for prolonged periods at a desk and work on a computer.
- Repetitive lifting, carrying, and moving objects of up to 50 pounds.
- Manual dexterity necessary for operating computer equipment and related office tools.
- Routine use of office equipment such as computers, phones, copy machines, and printers.
Skills
- Knowledge of setup, operation, and minor maintenance of a variety of print-shop/mailroom equipment.
- Basic mathematics, grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Operation of multicolor printing and modern office procedures.
- Ability to perform minor repairs and adjustments to printing equipment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, Access, Teams) and the Internet; ability to learn other software as needed.
Work Environment
This position works primarily in a warehouse environment with moderate to high activity levels. Employees may be exposed to varying temperatures, warehouse equipment, and noise associated with distribution operations. The role may require extended periods of standing, walking, lifting, and handling materials. Occasional exposure to various chemicals and substances may be expected in order to perform certain duties.
