Prints Coordinator/Planner I/Reception
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare weld folders, build ticket packets, and work orders.
- Release shop floor work from dispatch.
- Release work orders from daily pick/pack/confirm papers.
- Update book and system with serial numbers for all units.
- Copy build tickets or information from the folders as needed.
- Work with Engineering for day-to-day information for the shop.
- Input information into EDL for prints, manuals, etc.
- Perform other duties, assignments, and special projects as required.
Reception Desk Coverage
- Answer switchboard in a courteous, prompt, and efficient manner and direct calls to proper individuals or departments.
- Take and ensure messages are forwarded in a timely manner.
- Provide directions to the facility to customers and delivery drivers.
- Record daily training activities into training database.
- Enter Accounts Payable invoices as needed.
- Manage outgoing mail, order general office supplies, and ensure supplies are stocked as needed.
Experience and Skills Required
- Quick, effective, organized, self-directed person to deal with fluctuating workload.
- Must be able to prioritize workload.
- Must be proficient in MS Office products including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Must be able to multi-task and problem solve.
- Excellent attendance and reliability is required.
- Production Planning & Inventory Control experience is preferred.
- JDE knowledge is preferred.
- A high school diploma/GED is required.
