Printer Operator (Part Time)

About the role

Join The Expo Group as a Printer Operator and produce large-format graphics and signage for trade shows and events. This onsite, part-time role in our Orlando, Florida office is essential to delivering exceptional client-facing visuals that elevate the event experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate large-format printers and software (ONYX/Asanti) to produce final printed materials.
• Collaborate with layout artists to ensure print files are accurate and production-ready.
• Review jobs for color accuracy, numbering, sizes, and other specifications before printing.
• Coordinate with production staff, project managers, and sales to align production needs.
• Support project tracking, labeling, finishing, and logistics tasks.
• Assist the Graphics Production Manager in maintaining print standards and operational procedures.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in large format printing or graphic production.
• Familiarity with Onyx, Asanti, PosterShop, or Production House preferred.
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat).
• Strong time management, color correction, and ability to follow written instructions independently.
• Ability to lift 20–30 lbs and work in an enclosed print production environment with UV inks, repetitive machine noise, and occasional warehouse exposure.
