Printer Administrator

About the role

SAIC is seeking a qualified Printer Administrator for an onsite position supporting DCSA/OneIT out of Boyers, PA. The role involves providing advanced technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel, responding to complex issues, and interacting with customers on highly technical products.

Responsibilities

• Provides advanced technical support to field engineers, technicians, and product support personnel.
• Diagnoses, troubleshoots, repairs, and debugs complex electro/mechanical equipment, printer systems, complex software, or networked and/or wireless systems.
• Reports design, reliability, and maintenance problems or bugs to design engineering/software engineering.
• Might be involved in customer installation and training.
• Supports customers/users with highly technical or sophisticated products, including systems-level software where the user has a technical background.
• Interacts directly with customers/users and potentially product support personnel when their problems cannot be resolved directly by first-level resources.
• Applies extensive technical expertise and has full knowledge of other related disciplines.
• Establishes and recommends changes to policies affecting subordinate organization(s).
• Develops advanced technical solutions to complex problems requiring ingenuity and creativity.
• Represents the organization as a prime technical contact on contracts and projects.
• Interacts with senior external personnel on significant technical matters, often requiring coordination between organizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and nine (9) or relevant years of experience in lieu of degree.
• US Citizen with an active TOP SECRET clearance.
• IAT-II Certification in one of the following areas: CCNA-Security, CySA+, Security + CE, and/or CND.
