Job Description
This position supports the creation of high-quality printed and digital materials by running print and bindery machines, ensuring every order meets the customer’s expectations. This role thrives on teamwork, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of equipment, including digital printers, cutters, folders, and bindery machines, to complete jobs efficiently and accurately.
- Follow detailed job tickets to ensure proper specifications are met for each project.
- Conduct quality checks throughout production and verify the finished product before shipping.
- Collaborate closely with coworkers and leadership to align on project timelines, priorities, and changes.
- Support a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and participating in training programs (e.g., forklift certification, lockout/tagout).
- Perform daily equipment upkeep and communicate maintenance needs or mechanical issues to the appropriate team members.
- Suggest process improvements and share ideas or concerns to help optimize workflow and productivity.
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing materials for shipment as needed.

- Education and/or Experience:
- A High School diploma or equivalent
- Effective communication, both verbal and written
- Desired Skills:
- Experience with cross-media products, print, and digital
- Mental Requirements:
- Reading, writing, and calculating
- Interpersonal skills
- Reasoning/analysis
- Work with minimal supervision
- Equipment/Tools Used:
- Personal computer, phone, calculator, press and bindery equipment
- Physical Requirements:
- Light work (lift up to 10 lbs): Frequent – Office equipment and supplies, manuals, books, etc.
- Medium work (lift 15-25 lbs): Frequent – Boxes and stacks of manuals, books, etc.
- Heavy work (lift 25-50 lbs): Occasional – Pallets
- Other physical requirements: standing for long periods of time, up to 10 hours
