Principal, Underwriting-1

This role supports financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a life sciences environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Provide revenue estimates and profit and loss analysis for client proposals
• Assist in developing financial quotes that optimize costs and maximize revenue
• Identify cost factors and continuously evaluate standard business costs
• Assess client needs and identify opportunities for process improvements
• Collaborate with sales teams on pricing strategies for new business opportunities
• Leverage market analysis to inform new product pricing offers
• Monitor market trends and report on competitive positioning

Requirements

• BA/BS Degree
• 8+ years related experience
• 8+ years of subject matter expertise
• Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis and strategy development
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
• In-depth knowledge of the PBM industry and healthcare pricing functions
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels

Pay

$114,622 – $206,321 annually
