Principal Trainer - Epic Cupid

SGA is seeking a Principal Trainer for a contract assignment with a premier Healthcare client in San Francisco, CA.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain training programs for clinical information systems.
• Provide user support and training to clinical applications users at all professional and technical levels.
• Diagnose problems quickly and develop, test, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Serve as a technical resource, offering advice and counsel on functionality, efficiency, cost-effectiveness, policy, and performance to senior staff and managers.
• Design and execute tests, analyze system performance data, and produce substantive reports and analyses.
• Convey technical information and instructions clearly and concisely to users at all levels.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare information technology, computer science, or a related area, and/or equivalent combination of experience/training.
• Epic certification in Cupid and/or in-depth knowledge of 1–2 clinical applications specialty areas.
• Knowledge of systems and functions, including design, development, implementation, user support, training, maintenance, quality assurance, and system testing and evaluation.
• Strong problem-resolution, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven organizational skills with the ability to manage time, prioritize tasks, and complete projects on deadline.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with users and senior staff.
