Principal Supply Chain Manager (Analytics)
About the role
Nscale is scaling fast — and the hardware that powers our global AI infrastructure needs to keep pace. We're looking for a Principal Supply Chain Manager to bring analytical rigor and strategic clarity to how we plan, procure, and deploy GPUs and supporting hardware across our datacenter regions worldwide.
You'll sit at the intersection of commercial growth, infrastructure expansion, and financial discipline — turning demand signals and deployment roadmaps into concrete procurement, allocation, and inventory strategies, and working cross-functionally with finance, infrastructure, and commercial teams to make sure the right hardware is in the right place at the right time.
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role for someone who loves digging into complex supply chain problems and surfacing decisions that scale capital efficiently across a global operation.
What You'll Do
- Get deep on Nscale's supply position — auditing forecast processes, mapping visibility gaps across GPU vendors and OEMs, and building cross-functional relationships with the infrastructure, finance, and commercial teams you'll partner with daily.
- Learn where the constraints are, where capital is at risk, and where the current processes need sharpening.
- Take ownership — build and maintain the demand forecasts and supply visibility models that drive hardware decisions across our global datacenter regions, translating commercial pipeline signals into procurement action, making allocation calls across regions, and leading the scenario modeling that keeps our capacity plans ahead of demand.
- Own hardware readiness for new datacenter launches and ensure logistics and import/export constraints are surfaced early, not discovered late.
- Become the analytical backbone of supply chain planning at Nscale — design the dashboards and reporting infrastructure that finance and executive leadership rely on, lead capital efficiency analysis to reduce excess inventory and stranded spend, and shape the planning strategy for how we scale hardware availability globally.
Who You Are
- 10–12 years of experience in supply chain management, demand planning, or procurement operations
- Background in datacenter, cloud infrastructure, or hyperscale environments — you understand the pace and complexity of this world
- Direct experience with GPU-based supply chains or large-scale hardware procurement
- Strong grasp of hardware lifecycle economics in capital-intensive environments
- Proven track record managing OEM and hardware vendor relationships, including logistics coordination
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; you can build complex analytical models from scratch
- Comfortable writing SQL and working with operational datasets
- Familiarity with supply chain planning systems such as SAP, Anaplan, or NetSuite
- Exposure to BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
- A clear, confident communicator who can translate data into executive-level insights and recommendations
What we can offer you
- A highly competitive US compensation package (base + bonus + equity), with performance reviews every 12 months.
