About the role
The Staff Business Process Manager - Supply Chain will lead the transformation of Aurora's rapidly scaling Global Purchasing and Supply Chain (GPSC) organization. This role will assess process effectiveness, establish a robust data-driven culture through advanced dashboards, and lead cross-functional improvements to automate workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own design and maintenance of the GPSC "Playbook" by conducting regular assessments of purchasing and supply chain workflows to identify and resolve operational bottlenecks.
- Ensure all SOPs, process maps, and policy documentations are scalable, data-driven, and audit-ready.
- Design and automated deployment of real-time dashboards and KPI metrics to ensure a "Single Source of Truth" that transitions the organization from reactive reporting to proactive, actionable insights for leadership.
- Serve as the lead business stakeholder for ERP enhancements, defining functional requirements and driving automation to eliminate manual reporting and close process gaps.
- Identify and resolve process bottlenecks by executing process improvements that reduce manual data entry and streamline information flow between teams.
- Partner with Internal Audit to architect, implement, and monitor robust SOX controls, owning the documentation and quarterly self-testing to ensure 100% audit readiness.
- Proactively identify and integrate emerging technologies, including AI-based tools, to enhance business processes, predictive reporting, and overall organizational efficiency.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience driving supply chain process optimization and design, specifically within high-growth technology or manufacturing industries.
- 4+ years of experience in business process mapping (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio, Miro) within a hardware environment.
- Direct experience with SOX audits and a deep understanding of internal control frameworks.
- Mastery of ERP (e.g., NetSuite) and P2P (e.g., Coupa) platforms.
- Proficient in SQL/Python and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker Studio, Tableau, Power BI, or Mode).
- Mastery of Lean, Six Sigma, or similar process improvement frameworks to supply chain workflows.
Desirable Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related technical field.
- Six Sigma Certification.
- Experience across multiple supply chain domains.
- Passion for continuous improvement with the curiosity to uncover gaps, resilience to manage ambiguity, and drive to optimize processes and create solutions.
- A forward-thinking approach and tenacity to anticipate risks/opportunities and proactively drive towards the desired outcomes.
Pay
The base salary range for this position is $147,000 - $220,000 per year. Aurora’s pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, the successful candidate’s starting base pay will be determined based on factors including job-related skills, experience, qualifications, relevant education or training, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
