About the role
CuraCor Solutions is seeking a Principal Strategic Advisor with deep expertise in provider-side strategy and care delivery transformation to join our growing Care Delivery Services team.
Responsibilities
- Drive development of near-to-mid-term strategy (1-3 years) for CuraCor’s care delivery assets, partnering closely with long-term strategy teams to co-develop and ensure alignment with enterprise-wide 5+ year strategic visions.
- Develop asset-level care delivery strategies for FastMed and Alo | Avance Care that translate market insights, performance trends, and competitive dynamics into clear strategic direction and implementation-ready roadmaps.
- Shape strategies for adding, scaling, and optimizing high-margin services and service lines within existing provider platforms to drive near-to-mid-term growth and support long-term value creation.
- Guide strategies to maximize service line economics, leveraging operational and commercial levers across areas such as revenue cycle management (RCM), cost structure, throughput, pricing, and demand generation.
- Design and advance cross-enterprise strategies that align CuraCor’s care delivery assets with Blue Cross NC to drive collective value, accelerate the payvider vision, and support enterprise-wide growth and innovation.
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to senior leaders across CuraCor, our care delivery assets, and Blue Cross NC – facilitating alignment, shaping priorities, and guiding complex, multi-stakeholder strategy development efforts.
- Proactively deliver rigorous market and competitive intelligence, staying current on industry trends, care delivery innovation, and evolving payer-provider models to inform assets’ strategy and competitive advantage.
- Guide analytical focus and synthesize insights from financial, operational, payer, and market data, translating analytically derived findings into clear narratives, scenarios, and decision frameworks that inform executive-level strategy discussions and decision-making.
- Develop implementation-ready strategic recommendations that bridge strategy and execution, ensuring clarity on strategic intent, tradeoffs, and paths to impact without owning day-to-day operations.
- Partner with long-term strategy and corporate development teams to provide strategic input on the value of additional care delivery partnerships and transactions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or advanced degree (where required) 8+ years of experience in related field.
- In lieu of degree, 10+ years of experience in related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience (8+ years) developing implementation-ready, provider-side strategies across health systems and ambulatory care settings, including adding and scaling high-margin services and service lines and developing strategies to support and maximize service line economics through levers such as RCM, pricing, cost structure, and demand generation.
- Strong strategic and financial acumen, with experience in business case development and modeling to inform executive decision-making related to growth, profitability, and investment prioritization.
- Comfort working with complex financial, operational, payer, and market data, with the ability to guide analytical focus and interpret outputs from analytics tools and teams (hands-on execution not required).
- Strong communication and executive presence, with experience developing clear, compelling materials (e.g. PowerPoint and Excel) and narratives to support senior-level strategy discussions and alignment.
