Lead the identification, development, and execution of innovative pharmacy strategies, products, and programs that reduce cost of care, generate new revenue opportunities, and drive operational efficiency. Responsibilities
- Proactively identify, evaluate, and execute innovative pharmacy strategies, products, services, and programs that improve affordability, generate new revenue streams, and support enterprise growth objectives.
- Develop business cases and strategic recommendations for new pharmacy solutions, market opportunities, and emerging healthcare innovations.
- Lead efforts to enhance and optimize existing pharmacy programs to improve clinical outcomes, financial performance, operational efficiency, and member experience.
- Drive enterprise-level strategic planning, complex quantitative and qualitative analysis, opportunity assessments, and innovation roadmaps.
- Present strategic recommendations, financial analyses, business performance metrics, vendor assessments, market insights, and impact assessments to executive leadership and key stakeholders.
- Organize, prioritize, and communicate progress across a portfolio of strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and measurable business outcomes.
- Collaborate across pharmacy, clinical, operations, finance, product, and technology teams to advance innovative solutions and accelerate implementation of strategic initiatives.
- Monitor and assess industry, regulatory, market, technology, and competitive trends to identify emerging opportunities, risks, and areas for differentiation.
- Establish analytical frameworks, reporting capabilities, and evaluation methodologies to measure program performance, identify savings opportunities, and support decision-making.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, mentor, and thought leader, providing guidance to team members and cross-functional partners on strategic problem-solving, innovation, and business growth.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Pharmacy, Finance, Economics, or related fields
- In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of relevant experience in healthcare, pharmacy strategy, consulting, or business development
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MBA, MHA, PharmD, MPH, or related field)
- 8+ years of experience in healthcare, pharmacy, consulting, strategy, product management, business development, or related field
- Demonstrated experience identifying and implementing cost-of-care savings initiatives
- Experience developing new healthcare or pharmacy products, programs, services, or business models
- Strong financial modeling, business case development, and executive presentation skills
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive cross-functional strategic initiatives in a highly matrixed environment
Pay
Base salary range: $130,560.00 - $208,896.00. Starting salaries are typically planned near the middle of the range listed. Compensation decisions are driven by factors including experience and training, specialized skill sets, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
