Principal Recruiter
Position Summary
The AI, Product & Design Principal, Talent Acquisition Partner serves as a strategic talent advisor supporting high-impact hiring across leadership and specialized roles, including Group Directors, Senior Directors, Directors, Principal Product Managers, and Principal Designers. This role partners closely with hiring managers, People Partners, and business leadership to provide market insights, influence hiring decisions, and deliver an exceptional recruiting experience.
What you'll do
- Partner with business leaders to understand talent needs and translate them into effective recruitment strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Lead the design and execution of proactive sourcing plans, leveraging advanced techniques to identify and engage high-potential candidates.
- Provide guidance on candidate assessment frameworks, interview panel setup, and evaluation processes to ensure quality hiring decisions.
- Manage multiple large-scale projects using agile methodologies, overseeing prioritization, sprint planning, and continuous improvement.
- Analyze recruitment data and market intelligence to inform decision-making and optimize talent acquisition outcomes.
- Coach and develop team members, fostering collaboration and high performance across cross-functional partnerships.
About the team
The AI, Product & Design Talent Acquisition team collaborates with leadership to attract top talent across AI, Product Management, UX Design, UX Research, and Content Design. Acting as trusted advisors, the team addresses complex hiring needs, drives talent strategies, and supports key business goals. They provide insightful hiring reports to senior leaders, utilize market data to guide decisions, and ensure a consistent, high-quality recruitment experience. By managing intricate searches and building robust talent pipelines, the team fosters innovation and contributes to delivering customer-focused products and experiences across Walmart.

Minimum Qualifications
- Option 1: Bachelor's degree in business, human resources, or related area and 3 years' experience in human resources, talent acquisition, or other area.
- Option 2: 5 years' experience in human resources, talent acquisition, or related area.
Preferred Qualifications
