Principal ProServe Cloud Architect, US - HCLS
Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking an experienced ProServe Cloud Architect (PCA) to work closely with customers, understanding their technical requirements and business objectives to design and implement tailored cloud solutions. You will be a key player in the sales process, providing technical expertise and guidance throughout the customer's cloud journey.
Responsibilities
- Design complex, scalable, and secure AWS solutions, estimates, and proposals to deliver customer business outcomes (CBOs).
- Provide technical guidance and best practices during the sales and implementation phases.
- Collaborate with Account Executives and Shared Delivery Teams to ensure proposed solutions are realistic and achievable.
- Act as a trusted advisor to customers on industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Share knowledge within the organization through mentoring, training, and creating reusable artifacts.
- Architect solutions tailored to meet the specific needs of each customer, translating technical concepts into business value.
- Impact the signing of Statements of Work (SOWs) and ensure successful implementation of solutions that achieve CBOs while exceeding customer satisfaction (CSAT) expectations.
Requirements
- 7+ years of professional or military experience, or a Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of cloud and on-premise integration experience.
- Experience with technology risk, IT security audit, compliance, and/or relevant regulatory knowledge.
- Experience managing and delivering large-scale enterprise IT projects.
- Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/iterative methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in advanced technology, or AWS Professional level certification.
- Knowledge of compliance and security standards across the enterprise IT landscape.
- Knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies.
- Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments.
- Experience managing executive customer relationships and key business stakeholders.
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (like TOGAF, Zachman) and identifying relationships between business services, information, applications, and global infrastructure assets.
- Experience in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments.

- USA, CA, Mountain View: $210,200.00 - $284,300.00 USD annually
- USA, GA, Atlanta: $182,800.00 - $247,300.00 USD annually
- USA, NJ, Jersey City: $201,000.00 - $272,000.00 USD annually
- USA, NY, New York: $201,000.00 - $272,000.00 USD annually
- USA, TX, Dallas: $182,800.00 - $247,300.00 USD annually
- USA, VA, Arlington: $182,800.00 - $247,300.00 USD annually
- USA, VA, Herndon: $182,800.00 - $247,300.00 USD annually
