Principal Product Procurement Specialist (Remote - Puerto Rico)

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Product Procurement Specialist to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This remote opportunity is well-suited for a procurement professional who can drive purchasing activity for goods and services in a complex, highly regulated environment. The role will partner with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support cost-effective sourcing decisions, reliable delivery, and strong contract compliance. You will help ensure procurement processes are executed with accuracy, while supporting business needs across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Execute procurement processes including RFPs and cost analysis
• Support purchasing activities for goods and services, ensuring organizational benefit
• Prepare purchase orders and negotiate pricing as needed
• Analyze supplier quotations and financial data for pricing decisions
• Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contracts
• Communicate with suppliers to manage delivery schedules and resolve issues
• Maintain accurate procurement records and support reporting requirements

Qualifications

• University Degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years of relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree with 3+ years, or 9 years of relevant experience without a degree
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, verbal and written communication
• Must be a U.S. Person or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations
