Procurement Manager (Remote - Puerto Rico)

For our client, we are seeking a Procurement Manager (Remote - Puerto Rico) to join the team of a leader in the Aerospace & Defense space. This role will lead strategic procurement efforts that support production, supplier performance, and customer commitments in a highly regulated environment. The Procurement Manager will partner closely with cross-functional teams to shape sourcing decisions, manage supplier relationships, and drive cost-effective outcomes. Success in this position will require strong negotiation skills, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to mitigate supply chain risks while maintaining quality and contractual standards. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually Responsibilities Lead and execute strategic procurement initiatives, including sourcing strategies and competitive bidding Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supplier performance Manage relationships and performance of strategic suppliers, ensuring accountability for quality and contractual requirements Negotiate supplier agreements and drive cost reduction initiatives Analyze pricing, market conditions, and procurement metrics for data-driven decisions Identify and mitigate supply chain risks affecting production and customer commitments Partner with cross-functional teams to address complex supply chain challenges Qualifications University degree or equivalent experience with 8 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with 5 years of experience Fluency in English and Spanish, both verbal and written U.S. citizenship required for access to information under this program/contract Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance Three weeks of vacation for newly hired employees Generous 401(k) plan with employer matching Participation in an employee scholar program Life insurance and disability coverage Employee assistance plan with up to 8 free counseling sessions Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
