About the role

We're seeking an exceptional Principal Product Manager Technical to drive the expansion of execution planning systems that impact billions of packages, hundreds of delivery stations, and millions of customers across the globe. In this role, you'll lead transformative initiatives across Amazon's last mile delivery network, spanning from traditional core delivery to emerging business models like Rush (under an hour), quick commerce, groceries, and pharmacy.

Responsibilities

  • Define strategically impacting products for the Last Mile organization, influencing one of the widest distributed logistic systems in the world.
  • Lead strategically significant, multi-year product delivery across VP-level organizations, managing complex cross-functional initiatives that span architectural and algorithmic challenges in last mile planning and execution.
  • Drive simplification and efficiency improvements across distributed software systems handling 3.5+ billion packages annually, identifying and remediating critical and endemic problems at massive scale across 280+ delivery stations and 13+ countries.
  • Own the technical roadmap and influence business strategy for execution planning systems, partnering with engineering teams to design scalable solutions for routing optimization, containerization, and dispatch that balance competing concerns including cost, throughput, safety, and customer experience.
  • Define business and technical requirements, clarify ambiguities, and manage delivery timelines for high-visibility initiatives, making data-driven trade-offs to optimize return-on-investment while ensuring solutions remain generalizable and resilient to varying operational conditions.
