Principal Product Manager, Pricing & Monetization
Responsibilities
Lead Strategic Monetization Initiatives: Design and implement strategic programs that accelerate growth across new offerings and markets. Act as the program leader for cross-functional efforts to effectively implement changes.
Design and Execute Value-based Packaging and Pricing Models: Develop and execute strategies at both the portfolio level and capability rate card level that maximize customer value and business outcomes.
Market & Competitive Intelligence: Continuously monitor market dynamics, competitor pricing, and translate insights into actionable strategies.
Customer & Partner Engagement: Collaborate with key customers and partners to validate pricing strategies, gather feedback, and ensure alignment with perceived value.
Evangelize & Enable: Enable customer-facing teams on monetization strategies and tactics, publish thought-leadership materials, and be a reliable partner in efficient deal execution.
Analytics & Insights: Analyze street pricing and deal economics, derive insights, and accelerate growth through data-driven decisions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in a strategic Product Management role within B2B Enterprise SaaS environments.
- 5+ years of experience in defining monetization strategies and shaping field-ready packaging and pricing.
Preferred Requirements
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional programs and drive change, with a strong bias toward action and improvement iteratively.
- Expertise in competitive benchmarking and monetization strategies, including analyzing competitor pricing models, identifying gaps, and translating insights into actionable pricing recommendations.
- Ability to effectively engage with both technical audiences and C-level executives, bringing experience in influencing and tailoring messaging for diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in Partnering with Sales & Sales Ops: integration real-time deal feedback and equipment of teams with clear pricing and negotiation guidance.
- Working with Finance: governance of global list pricing, analysis of discount and margin impacts, and drive data-backed pricing scenarios and forecasts.
- Collaborating with the Deal Desk: structuring of complex deals that maintain pricing integrity while supporting strategic opportunities.
Benefits
Compensation and Rewards: DOE, salary $204K - $255K, plus Health, Dental, Life, STD, LTD, 401K, PTO. Total compensation may vary depending on candidate experience/education and location.
