Principal Product Manager, AWS Identity and Access Management
About the role
The Principal Product Manager will drive the evolution of AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) and related services, focusing on AI agent integration and security. The role involves defining product requirements, setting business strategy, synthesizing customer requirements, communicating with executive leadership, and partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Define product requirements for customer-facing cloud identity services
- Set business strategy and make high-judgment roadmap prioritization trade-offs
- Synthesize customer requirements from developers, cloud architects, security engineers, and data administrators
- Communicate to AWS executive leadership
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage risk and escalations, and balance business needs against technical constraints

We are the AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, responsible for building and operating one of the largest and most important software systems in the world, used by every AWS customer.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
- Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)
- Experience with AI/ML technologies
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience

Preferred Qualifications

Pay
The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
