Principal PATTS Consultant, State & Local Government

About the role

This role focuses on guiding public sector clients through complex payroll, time, and labor implementations with an emphasis on solution fit, process accuracy, and stakeholder alignment. You will partner closely with engagement leadership and client teams to translate business requirements into workable configurations, support data migration and testing, and help ensure successful project delivery. The position also includes mentoring consultants, sharing functional expertise, and identifying opportunities to expand client value through additional services.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document customer business requirements
• Configure the solution to meet client needs
• Support data conversion from legacy systems
• Assist in testing the solution
• Communicate project status and risks to the Engagement Manager
• Mentor new Consultants and share product knowledge
• Identify opportunities for additional service offerings

Qualifications

• 4+ years of Payroll consulting or operational experience, preferably in public sector institutions
• 6+ years of experience implementing PATTS
• Proficiency in Payroll, Time & Labor, Labor Costing, and related functional areas
• Experience with enterprise HCM or ERP systems, SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft, or ADP
• Strong business analysis and requirements gathering skills

Pay

$140,300 – $210,500 annually
