About the role

The Global Trade Analyst - level 3 position is within the Launch and Exploration Division of Northrop Grumman Space Systems. This role is hybrid, with a standard work schedule of 9/80.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and interpretation of USG regulations, including ITAR, EAR, BATFE, Anti-boycott Regulations, US Census and Customs Regulations.
  • Work with various functional areas to determine their export/import needs.
  • Prepare and submit necessary export/import authorization requests and manage post approval activities such as recordkeeping, reporting requirements, approvals for data exports, and international shipping authorizations.
  • Support the Global Trade Manager in developing and implementing strategies to meet business requirements and ensure full compliance with all regulatory agencies.
  • Present formally in meetings, training environments, and respond to questions from management, employees, customers, and vendors related to export/import compliance.
  • Support corrective action implementation and negotiate export/import control issues with internal and external customers in a win/win manner.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in import or export trade compliance and/or international contracts, or 9 years of experience in these fields.
  • Basic knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and other US Government Export Regulations.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret level security clearance.

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of Customs/Census, FAR/DFARS, TINA and other US Government Regulations.
  • Experience in reviewing and understanding contracts and associated scope of work and requirements.
  • Proficiency with DESCARTE OCR EASE Export & Import Global Trade Compliance Software.
  • Experience providing training to export licensing personnel and functional requesters.

Pay

The basic salary range for this position is $81,400.00 - $141,200.00 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This is a hybrid position with a standard work schedule of 9/80.
