About the role

The Global Trade Analyst - level 3 position supports international programs and ensures full compliance with all regulatory agencies. Reporting to the Manager of Global Trade within the Launch and Exploration Division, this role works in Chandler, AZ, Gilbert, AZ, Redondo Beach, CA, Falls Church, VA, Elkton, MD, McLean, VA, Dulles, VA, Linthicum, MD, Promontory, UT.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and interpretation of USG regulations, including ITAR, EAR, BATFE, Anti-boycott Regulations, US Census and Customs Regulations.
  • Work with various functional areas to determine export/import needs and prepare and submit necessary authorization requests.
  • Manage post-approval activities such as recordkeeping, reporting requirements, and approvals for data exports and international shipping authorizations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to meet business requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Present in meetings, train, and respond to questions related to export/import compliance.
  • Support corrective action implementation and negotiate export/import control issues with internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in import/export trade compliance and/or international contracts, or 9 years of experience in these fields.
  • Basic knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and other US Government Export Regulations.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret level security clearance.

Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of Customs/Census, FAR/DFARS, TINA and other US Government Regulations.
  • Experience in reviewing and understanding contracts and associated scope of work and requirements.
  • Proficiency with DESCARTE OCR EASE Export & Import Global Trade Compliance Software.
  • Experience providing training to export licensing personnel and functional requesters.

Pay

The basic salary range for this position is $81,400.00 - $141,200.00 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus may also be offered.

Schedule

This is a hybrid position with a 9/80 work schedule, allowing employees to take every other Friday off.
