About the role
The Global Trade Analyst - level 3 position is within the Launch and Exploration Division of Northrop Grumman Space Systems. This role supports international programs and ensures full compliance with all regulatory agencies.
Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and interpretation of USG regulations, including ITAR, EAR, BATFE, Anti-boycott Regulations, US Census and Customs Regulations.
- Work with various functional areas to determine their export/import needs.
- Prepare and submit necessary export/import authorization requests and manage post approval activities such as recordkeeping, reporting requirements, approvals for data exports, and international shipping authorizations.
- Aid the Global Trade Manager in developing and implementing strategies to meet business requirements and ensure compliance.
- Present formally in meetings, training environments, and respond to questions related to export/import compliance.
- Support corrective action implementation and negotiate export/import control issues with internal and external customers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in import or export trade compliance and/or international contracts, or 9 years of experience in these fields.
- Basic knowledge of ITAR, EAR, and other US Government Export Regulations.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Secret level security clearance.
Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Customs/Census, FAR/DFARS, TINA and other US Government Regulations.
- Experience in reviewing and understanding contracts and associated scope of work and requirements.
- Proficiency with DESCARTE OCR EASE Export & Import Global Trade Compliance Software.
- Experience providing training to export licensing personnel and functional requesters.

Pay
The basic salary range for this role is $81,400.00 - $141,200.00 annually. Overtime, shift differential, and additional benefits may apply.
Schedule
This is a hybrid position with a 9/80 work schedule. Employees work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday and take every other Friday off.
