PRINCIPAL ENGINEER - WATER MANAGER
Description of Duties/Essential Functions
Under immediate supervision of the Manager of Education and Outreach in the Division of Information and Education, assists the health line administrator with answering and processing “Spanish-speaking health-line calls,” including appropriate referrals to the Illinois Breast and Cervical Cancer Program (IBCCP) and other health care providers. Provides data and input for Women’s Health Line reports. Prepares health education materials and health promotion items for distribution to callers. Exhibits at conferences and other health education events to highlight the OWH and IBCCP. Speaks and writes Spanish at a colloquial skill level to member of the Spanish speaking community.
Minimum Requirements
Requires a bachelor’s degree in public health education or related area. Requires elementary knowledge of basic principles involved in the organization and administration of public health. Requires the ability to speak and write Spanish at a colloquial skill level.
