Places of performance for this position are Annapolis Junction, MD; San Antonio, TX; Aurora, CO; and Carey, NC.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
  • Manage IT system infrastructure and any processes related to these systems.
  • Provide support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Provide Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Provide support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
  • Provide support for the dispatch system and hardware problems, remaining involved in the resolution process.
  • Configure and manage UNIX and Windows operating systems, install/load operating system software, troubleshoot, maintain integrity, and configure network components along with implementing operating system enhancements to improve reliability and performance.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma with 10 years of experience or Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience.
  • Active and current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
  • Experience providing support for implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT systems.
  • Providing Tier 1 (Help Desk) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Managing the daily activities of configuration and operation of IT systems.
  • Providing assistance to users in accessing and using IT systems.
  • Providing Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and resolution.
  • Providing support to IT systems including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all client/server/storage/network devices, mobile devices, etc.
  • Providing support for the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers.
  • Optimizing system operations and resource utilization, and performing system capacity analysis and planning.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience analyzing user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
  • CNO (Computer Network Operations) development concepts.

Pay

Primary level salary range: $98,900.00 - $155,400.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
