Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 technical support (including Domain Administration, System Administration, and Network Administration).
  • Maintain the smooth operation of computer systems, applications, and the user experience.
  • Communicate effectively across multi-functional teams, stakeholders, and end users.

Qualifications

  • Cyber Systems Administrator: Master's Degree with 0 years of experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of experience.
  • For Principal Cyber Systems Administrator: PhD with 1 year of experience; Master's Degree with 3 years of experience; OR a Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience.
  • Must possess a current DoD 8570 Certification for IAT Level II or higher before start date (example: Security+ CE).
  • Supports the implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of Information Technology (IT) systems.
  • Manages IT system infrastructure and related processes.
  • Provides support for IT systems, including day-to-day operations, monitoring, and problem resolution for all supported devices, including mobile devices.
  • Provides Tier 1 (Help Desk) and Tier 2 (Escalation) problem identification, diagnosis, and issue resolution.
  • Supports the escalation and communication of issue status to program management and end users.
  • Configures and manages Linux and Windows operating systems upon start date, installs/load operating system software, patches, and configures network components, along with implementing operating systems enhancements to improve reliability and performance.
  • Performs troubleshooting as needed.
  • Configures and manages virtualized environments, virtual networking, and storage solutions.
