Places of performance for this position are Annapolis Junction, MD; San Antonio, TX; Aurora, CO; and Carey, NC.

Responsibilities

• Apply systems engineering principles throughout the systems life cycle phases: Concept, Development, Production, Utilization, Support, and Retirement.
• Interact with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues, or conflicts.
• Communicate with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executives.
• Ensure the technical integrity, quality, and completeness of work performed and deliverables associated with one or more of the 25 process areas defined by ISO/IEC 15288:
  • Technical Process Area: Stakeholder Requirements Definition, Requirements Analysis, Architectural Design, Implementation, Integration, Verification, Transition, Validation, Operation, Maintenance, and Disposal.
  • Project Process Area: Project Planning, Project Assessment and Control, Decision Management, Risk Management, Configuration Management, Information Management, and Measurement.
  • Enterprise (Organizational Project-Enabling) Process Area: Project Portfolio Management, Infrastructure Management, Lifecycle Model Management, Human Resource Management, and Quality Management.
  • Agreement Process Area: Acquisition and Supply.
• Perform analysis of technical alternatives for a project and make preliminary recommendations.
• Develop and deliver work products in any of the ISO/IEC 15288 Process Areas.

Requirements

• High School Diploma with 8 years of experience, Bachelor’s degree with 4 years of experience, Master’s degree with 3 years of experience, or a Doctorate degree with 1 year of experience. Degree must be in a related STEM field.
• Active and current TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Experience performing systems engineering activities and assisting in the preparation of work products in Technical Process Areas associated with ISO/IEC 15288.
• Experience performing systems engineering activities and assisting in the preparation of multiple work products in Project and/or Technical Process Areas associated with ISO/IEC 15288 processes.
• Experience assisting in performing systems engineering activities in the ISO/IEC 15288 Agreement or Enterprise Process Areas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CNO (Computer Network Operations) Development Concepts.
• Experience analyzing user requirements to derive software and performance requirements.

Pay

Primary level salary range: $119,600.00 – $187,900.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
