About the role
The Principal, Corporate Business Development (CorpBD) Leader at Amazon will generate, execute, and manage complex and high-impact strategic partnership activities. This includes leading deal negotiations with senior leaders across multiple Amazon businesses.
Responsibilities
- Develop transformative commercial strategies that drive significant business impact through Amazon's relationship with leading financial services and fintech partners.
- Take the lead to identify, evaluate, negotiate and manage complex and high-profile partnerships that enable new and valuable customer experiences in payments, fintech, and lending.
- Remove barriers and create ease for customer transactions.
- Act as a trusted advisor and consultant to executives running both online and physical businesses at Amazon.
Requirements
- 7+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements experience
- 7+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
- Experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements and leading cross-functional groups to orchestrate and successfully complete deals
Qualifications
- MBA (preferred)

The base pay for this position ranges from $193,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $288,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
Pay
The base pay for this position ranges from $193,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $288,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
