Principal Business Development, Edge

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Business Development, Edge to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space. This role will own strategy and execution for edge data center solutions, with a strong emphasis on market positioning, customer insight, and cross-functional alignment. The position partners closely with engineering, sales, operations, and external stakeholders to shape offerings from concept through launch and ongoing optimization. It is well suited for a commercially minded leader who can translate technical infrastructure trends into growth-oriented business outcomes in a fast-moving environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $116,169 – $197,487 annually Responsibilities Define and own the strategy for edge data center solutions Conduct customer interviews and analyze market trends for actionable insights Write clear product requirements and collaborate with stakeholders Research potential vendors to define competitive solutions Lead collaboration with engineering, sales, and operations teams Develop and execute go-to-market strategy for product positioning Manage the product lifecycle from development to launch and feedback Communicate product strategies and status to internal stakeholders Qualifications 5+ years of experience in product management specializing in infrastructure or data center solutions Deep understanding of edge computing, data centers, and networking Proven capability to develop and execute a product roadmap Strong analytical skills for decision-making and feature prioritization Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences Collaborative experience with cross-functional teams Self-starter with an ownership-oriented, action-driven approach Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business; MBA preferred Benefits Opportunity to lead innovative edge data center solutions Engagement in cross-functional collaboration Ability to influence product direction and strategy Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
