Principal Associare, Recruiter

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers and business, group, or organization leads to understand unique talent needs.
• Manage the full lifecycle recruiting process and hiring deliverables, including creating compelling position descriptions, sourcing diverse candidate pipelines, marketing Capital One’s talent brand, screening candidates, and advising business partners on the recruiting process.
• Negotiate job offers and develop sourcing plans to identify and recruit top talent, owning the candidate development process from identification and engagement to offer extension and closing.
• Work cross-functionally across a team of high-performing recruiters and promote a culture of inspiration, empowerment, and inclusion.
• Leverage recruiting data to proactively provide status updates and hiring results to leadership and HR partners.
• Source stellar candidates using innovative techniques such as search engines, career sites, recruiting events, and other methods.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
• At least 3 years of experience in recruiting, human resources, or client consulting.
• Professional Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in corporate recruiting, full life cycle, research, and sourcing.
• 2+ years experience consulting with multiple hiring managers at once while developing and enhancing excellent working relationships with those managers and their teams.
• Ability to influence and drive results in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to use innovative techniques to attract and recruit diverse talent.
• Experience in compensation and general HR requirements as related to hiring.

Pay

Salaries for Principal Recruiter positions vary by location:

• McLean, VA: $120,800 - $137,900
• Richmond, VA: $109,900 - $125,400

Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter.
